Tanji & Co. is a brickyard founded by Riemon Tanji who was a kawara tile maker from Henomatsu Village. It is utilized as a restaurant at present. The former company is a two-story brick structured building, the externall wall is ornamental brick facing. Its design is elegant that stained glasses are installed at the main entrance and west vestibule upper section. The gate and brick wall surround the front yard in the property are resistered cultural properties as well as the company building. The estimated period of construction is the late Meiji.
