It was built in Shoraien-residential district that was developed in early Showa period. Kouichi Hamuro, Sumitomo corporation executive, built the house in 1937 (Showa 12). The main two-story wooden building (include detached rooms ) with tiled- roof, two-story storehouse with thick earthenwalls, and a flat barn are on the ground.
