Outline explanation

A chuch of reinforced concrete block structure established in early Showa period. Located along the street at Higashi-Shinsaibashi, Chuuou-Ku, one block to the west of the intersection of Sakai-Suji and Suomachi-Dori. Designed by Mamoru Nakamura. Three-storied, flat roofing. The entrance is decorated with six square pillars above the big stairs, the decorative concrete blocks are utilized in the front of the building. This architecture was constructed with a method ‘Nakamura Style Reinforced Concrete Block Structure’ invented by the designer. This is a good example of a progress of architectural structure in modern period.
